The Bible tells us to "be ambassadors of Christ" and "make disciples of every nation". I conclude that we should share the good news with everyone who has not been saved already. Think of it this way, if you went hiking with a friend and all of the sudden he slipped and fell off the cliff and he was holding on the edge with all he had, what would you do? Would you (standing on solid ground) stand there and watch him struggle, knowing all along that eventually he will fall? Or would you drop down to your knees and grab him and attempt to pull him up to safety, even if it meant you had to get your knees scraped or your pants dirty? Wouldn't you try to help your friend? You don't want him to fall. In the same way we see our relatives, friends, co-workers, etc. hanging for dear life and we know that eventually they are going to fall. So, do we continue to watch or do we attempt to save others? Many people say "I don't want to offend anyone." Or "Hey, I'll let you believe what you want to believe and you can let me believe what I want to believe." Well, if I still saw my friend hanging on the cliff, I wouldn't care about what he said. I'd continue to pull him up so he too can stand on safe ground.
An important thing to ask yourself is "Do I love others?". Jesus told us to love our neighbors. If we love others we should care about where they are headed. If they aren't saved by Jesus, they are headed to hell and this should be motivation enough to go out there and share the light. We, as Christians are to be like moons. Just as the Moon reflects the light, from the sun, on the darkness, we are to reflect the truth and light, from the Son, on others that are in the darkness.
